Dr. Barnard is originally from Sudbury, Ontario. She relocated to London in 1982 to attend the University of Western Ontario, graduating in 1986 with a BSc. in Science and 1990 with her DDS. Dr. Barnard is married with two children launching into life after their post-secondary education.  She is enjoying a successful career as an amateur landscape architect (in her own backyard!).  She also enjoys Moksha yoga, running and kangoo!!  She is a member of the CDA, ODA, LDDS and has been co-president of the Greater London Dental Study Club for more years than she can remember!  She cherishes her family and friends and a weedless garden!

Tamara joined the practice as Dr. Barnard's assistant in June 2011.  She is originally from Toronto, but is proud of her Jamaican and Newfoundlander heritage! She has four beautiful children, including new additions "Jaxon" who was born on January 6, 2013 and "Youandi" who was born on January 23, 2014.

Elaine is our receptionist, having joined the practice in December 2015.  Upon graduating from Thunder Bay's Confederation College in 1986 with a Medical Secretarial Diploma, she immediately began working in the dental industry.  Over the past 29 years she has continued to strengthen her dental knowledge while developing a strong business sense. In 2006 she relocated her family to London, a city which she has grown to love.   Her two daughters have completed university and are launching into their respective careers.

Chantalle works at the front desk part time supporting Elaine in the receptionist position.  She also hails from the north and is the mother of a five year old whirling dervish!  She is fluent in French and is a lovely addition to our team! Welcome Chantalle!

Nanci is a London native who enjoys running, swimming, gardening and being active!  She is the mom to two teenage boys so she's a busy lady.  She's been a hygienist for over 25 years, so she brings a wealth of experience to the practice.  Welcome Nanci!

Amela recently relocated to the London area from the GTA where she worked as a hygienist for a classmate of Dr. Barnard's, Dr. Rosie Crispino.  Amela's busy household includes triplet ten-year-old girls, a dog and a bird!  In her spare time... ok let's not kid ourselves, this lovely lady HAS no spare time!! We are thrilled to have her join the practice and she will be transitioning from part time to full time in May 2019.  Welcome Amela!
